MY PLATFORM
I come from proud a family. My mother, Jacqueline Hentz worked for the VA and retired from the United States Postal Service, my father Herman Hamilton, retired from Nabisco. I have worked with the Teamsters at United Parcel Service, and with DC 33 while a Civil Servant with the City of Philadelphia, at the Water Department, The City Controller's Office and the Capital Programs Office (Department of Public Property). I worked for the School District of Philadelphia, PGW and I have served my community in my church and other organizations. Now I want to work for you in City Council We need to create more living wage jobs, improve our schools, and make public safety - especially getting guns off the streets, a top priority. With nearly a decade of government experience, I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate the complicated governmental agencies, and get things done."
